The upper arm’s “bingo wings” deviation.
As spring and summer nears, short sleeved and sleeveless tops start to appear, and with them, the aesthetic and functional deviations affecting the upper arm. Many patients experience the annoying wave-movement when lifting or moving the arm, as a problem.
The usual culprit behind these complaints is the excess fat on the backside of the arm.
This unpleasant deviation can be, in most cases, well corrected with liposuction. In some cases, further, complementary procedures can be required as well. Liposuction is done with local anesthesia, through a miniscule, 2 mm wide opening. An elastic bandage must be worn for a few weeks.
After this, the previous grievances are completely gone, we can wave, gesticulate to our heart’s content, the annoying extra movement will not be there.
